FRIGGA

Frigga is seen as the most important of the Goddesses. Being a Goddess of the Vanir, Frigga is a fertility Goddess. However, her role as a fertility Goddess seems to be looked at much different than that of Freyja. She is the Goddess associated with the home and hearth, domesticity, childbirth, motherhood and marriage. She is known as being both a devoted mother and a wife.

Frigga has the ability to see the future. But holding to the idea that the future is best left untold, she does not share her knowledge.

Frigga’s hall, which is called Fensalir (Marsh Halls) , is located in Vanaheim- the home of the Vanir. Frigga would spend much time sitting in her hall spinning thread of gold and brightly colored clouds. Fensalir is also home to married couples and only those whose love is pure are allowed to live there.
