Often in life we hear “Why me?” or “This shouldn’t happen to me!” when faced with wyrd’s little nuances.
Maybe the question should be “Why not?”

The most important aspect of the martial arts is damage limitation. The more opportunity an attacker has, the higher the likelihood of sustaining injury.
The fear of injury is often used as a deterrent and is part of our nature to wish for our own well being.
